Beneath the ToEE – Fixed Cover

Hello all!

It’s come to my attention that some folks aren’t seeing the cover of my adventure T5 Beneath the Temple of Elemental Evil the way it was intended. There’s apparently some issue with the fonts used on the cover image. Hey, it looked great on my machine!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the file has been updated, and the cover should now appear as it should, with a ToEE-esque font for the title. If you’ve downloaded the old version and the cover looks weird, try this one:

  1. Looks good! Just downloaded it. Looking forward to reading it and giving you some feed back.

  2. You know, as I’ve been running TOEE, I’ve had time to think through the Lolth vs. Zuggtmoy vs. Iuz vs. Tharizdun debate over who is in charge. I think Zuggtmoy makes sense for one reason only. She is the goddess of fungi and decay, but if we view decay in a different way, we can see how it fits in. Plants and animals aren’t the only things that decay. Relationships also decay. They sometimes decay more slowly or quickly, but most decay in some way. Not necessarily to the point of hatred, but friendships suffer, people lose touch, etc. There is not a place where this is more true than in the Temple. With 7 factions vying for power, there is bound to be massive decay — backstabbing, open war, betrayal, rejection, and so on. Zuggtmoy would thrive on this decay, not to mention all the literal decay of dead bodies and such. Anyway, just my $0.02.
