  1. Nyrond, Army of the North
9000 LI spear (7000 human, 1000 Gnome) only makes 8000.
    So, 8000? more humans?
    Really loving these.

  2. This brings me back to the battle system rules from wizards. I just hope your new streamlined system is not quite as complicated, but at the same time making each type of unit (type, race, armor, weapon, elite, etc.) unique. Looking forward to it.

    1. It’s probably not going to be as comprehensively differentiated you’re thinking. For instance, there won’t be a difference between units armed with, say, swords vs. those armed with spears, just for the sake of playability (this is a wargame for non-wargamers, so deliberately not making things too complex). There are light/medium/heavy, and different races have different modifiers, and quality is there, too (elite, levies, etc.). Character level (for leaders) does have an impact on their command and morale abilities, however, in a limited sense.

  3. Almor main army, 1500 medium infantry, chainmail and shiel (missing the d).
Notable missing nations March of Bissel from Sheldomar, could be with Veluna and Verbobonc though. Tenh from Nyrond, could be with Bandit kingdoms though.
Great series, once you do the main nations it would be nice to fill out the Demi-Human controlled forest, hill and mountain realms.
    Plus the aforementioned fleets.

    Thanks for doing this.

    1. Almor main army, 1500 medium infantry, chainmail and shiel (missing the d).

Still not corrected. Just thought you would like to know.

  4. Almor’s troop numbers, although consistent with Dragon magazine are wildly unsupportable. Almor has a population of 200,000.
You have 65,900 total troops, 35% of the population or every male from 15 to 65 years of age.
Granted, 2,500 are elves and 33,700 levies. That still leaves a standing army of 29,700 or about 15%. That is insanely high, but given the imminent and most likely genocidal attack coming, drafting everyone (until planting or harvesting seasons) might seem like a workable option.
The Great Kingdom only has 15,000 regulars, 15,000 humanoids and by Dragon Magazine the ability to call up to 75,000 levies plus hiring mercenaries.
Talk about a disaster in the making.
