MepaCon Fall 2022

Last weekend was MepaCon, a nice local convention in eastern Pennsylvania. This year it was held in Bethlehem, PA (and it looks like this hotel might be the home for the con for a while; it’s been bouncing around for a few years).

This year I went as a vendor for BRW Games. I was a little hesitant, since my stuff is mostly old-school (although I do have a 5E version of Castle of the Mad Archmage), and MepaCon tends to attract a younger crowd. Still, the books I had drew a lot of interest, and a lot of folks walked away with some old-school goodness. The OSR, and 1st Edition, are still going strong.

The con features both RPG and board gaming. In the RPG sphere, they have a strong Pathfinder Society presence, and Greyhawk Reborn does well here, too.

I didn’t take nearly as many pics this time as I usually do at a con, but hopefully this will give you an idea of what it’s like. I recommend MepaCon if you’re in the area! It’s held twice a year.
