Today we look at a new book by a name that should be familiar to readers and viewers of my YouTube channel; Christopher Hamwell. Citadel Cavitius: Expanding Vecna’s Greyhawk is a 67 page pdf that is an expansion/restatement of the famous prison-city first encountered in Vecna Lives! It’s a gorgeous book, to be sure, with lots of (AI-generated) art and maps from both previous TSR adventures and Dyson Logos.
The book itself is presented as a location rather than a standard adventure, but there are a number of adventure hooks discussed at the beginning, to give the DM some help with getting the PCs to the place. Although Cavitius was later transported into Ravenloft, the city in this book is still firmly associated with Greyhawk. There are quite a number of memorable NPCs, some new monsters, and a few new magic items, including the Horn of Vecna.
