Community Greyhawk – The Cantor’s Passkey

The Cantor’s Passkey is a low-level adventure set in an indeterminate area of the World of Greyhawk, focusing on a minor relic of Saint Cuthbert. It’s pretty straightforward (as one would expect of a 1st/2nd level adventure), with some ho-hum encounters, but it does its job.

There are two specific issues I have with this book; first, although it features Saint Cuthbert, it feels very generic. The author isn’t known for his Greyhawk output (that I’m aware of), and I think grounding it in a more specific area of the Flanaess would help. Second, the art is very much not my style; it’s photography that has been digitally “enhanced”. It’s better than AI art, but it’s just not my thing.

The book is 18 pages long and goes for $1.99. At that price it’s hard to say no, but I can’t really give this a wholehearted endorsement, either. You can buy it here.
