Check out this Sci-Fi Stock Art Kickstarter

Stock art has a reputation for being:

1) Poor quality.
2) Difficult to find what you need.
3) What-you-see-is-what-you-get.

Choose Your Own: Sci-Fi Stock Art, the latest art project by freelance RPG illustrator, Jeshields, hurdles those obstacles.

By providing over 250 individual inked and colored art assets, backers will be able to mix and match quality images together to create their own masterpieces.

Some pledge levels even include Photoshop files to allow you to easily change colors and other edits.

The most amazing part of this project? The community response from the indie publisher scene.

Many small publishers want to see this project funded so much that they have offered complimentary copies of their RPG products to entice more potential backers (just check out the image to the right to get an idea!).

The value in RPG products actually exceeds the value of most pledge levels.

Fans of Jeshields’ artwork can pledge at the top tier to receive a signed illustration of their submitted idea.

Back now before this campaign ends!

I should point out that I’ve worked with Jeshields in the past, both for The Golden Scroll of Justice book, where he contributed some of the artwork, and as a backer of his previous Kickstarter featuring fantasy art. He’s enormously talented, and I can’t recommend his work enough.
