And so, back in stride, I present to you the next installment of the Castle of the Mad Archmage. This release takes us down through Level 8: The Lesser Caves. This one just flew onto the page as quickly as I could write it, a torrent of creativity that would not be stopped.

If I may say so myself, this level has a lot of really nice stuff in it. The northeast section is my favorite; there’s not a dozen keyed encounters in the whole quadrant, but it’s sure to befuddle players for quite some time.

  6. Awesome addition to the Castle! I Paypal'ed you some appreciation. Any idea if your cartographer extraordinaire will be making any more poster sized maps of the levels (seven and eight)?

  7. There are indeed poster maps on the way– I have them for 7 & 8, but am waiting for a few other things before I post them.

  8. I never get to post everywhere as often as I would like, but do want to say that I keep downloading this to run. Now that the Labyrinth Lord Advanced Edition Companion is almost out (hopefully this week!) I am running my group through the Castle. I have read through several of the levels many times in anticipation.
