Today’s offering is another title from 3orcs; the Village of Nulb Campaign Sourcebook for Temple Elemental Temple Campaign. This is an exhaustive sourcebook for the famous village to the northeast of Hommlet, which lies on the doorstep of the Temple of Elemental Evil, and fits in nicely with 3orcs’ other works, which exhaustively detail the region around the Temple. It’s 146 pages, and has plenty of maps and artwork as well, and sells for $20.
This really is a massive sourcebook for such a relatively small locale. There are complete descriptions of most of the buildings and inhabitants, 20+ pages on quests, stat blocks, and information on politics, factions, and the like.
If anything, this might make the book a bit too complete, not leaving a lot of room for DM invention and improvisation. But if you’re looking for a complete treatment of the village, and if you’re prepared to give an exhaustive book an exhaustive read so you can properly apply it to your campaign, it’s certainly the right tool for the job of fleshing out Nulb.
